"Columbus Adrift"

Well, the new book is away. I’ve sent it off to my publishers, after four months of revisions and editing and tinkering… Now, we’re looking for a new title. “Columbus at 4AM” admittedly, was the best of a long line of titles that didn’t quite do it. Eventually, Hilary (my agent) and I threw our arms in the air and said a not-quite-convinced yes to the Columbus at 4AM title. Now, we begin this search again.

I know there’s an elegantly perfect title out there somewhere. I have a feeling it’s going to be simple and pithy.

I just realized that I was being an idiot by thinking that with a one paragraph description of an over-300-page book, I could find a title floating around...Maybe I'll drink a shit-load of Absinthe tonight and dream the perfect title...While I do not doubt the inteligence of my associates and my fellow writers, it's unfair of me to expect help on this one. This titular problem must be faced by the few who have been living inside this book for the past year...

While eliminating my previous plea for help, I inadvertently deleted the lovely comments from the last post. Sorry about that.

Daniel,
Not bad….More appropriate than you know!
Thanks

Thomas
