a tiny slip of paper
June 15, 2011
I’m working on a character who no longer communicates with the world by e-mail, or text, or social media. He writes notes on tiny slips of paper and either offers them in person, or snail-mails them. I find this idea to be immensely appealing. To offer a note written on the back of something – a like a “word-a-day” calendar, or a “quotes from the Buddha” calendar, or a gun wrapper, or a Post-it-Note, or the ripped corner of something bigger.
Maybe the character I’m working on is me.
