Patrick Pilarski and SEX!

I’ve been remiss with posting here. First, there was a wonderful week of teaching at Youthwrite (with my daughter along), then a death in the family, then a week in the mountains followed by a week of 10-hour days renovating.
While I was away, I missed out on Patrick Pilarski’s book launch. I was fortunate enough to read an early version of Five Weeks. Made me sad to have to miss his launch. If you don’t have it yet, this 48-page book contains some very fine haiku and a few haibun, and prose pieces as well, and you should have it, read it! Congratulations Patrick!!! My hat is off to you, sir. 70,000 words is an accomplishment in its own right. I admire your dedication to the craft. Can’t wait to read the new book.

Got a lovely rejection of Doubting from a US film agency last week….My agent is trying….god bless her.
And the new one is very close to going to Toronto.
