Trofimuk at Greenwoods' Bookshoppe TONIGHT!!
October 1, 2009
Just got a call from Trofimuk. He told me to post something about his reading/launch at Greenwoods’ Bookshoppe tonight. I, Christopher Columbus, Admiral of the Western Seas, will not be going…I’ve heard the guy read. I’ve heard all his stories so many times I could recite them by heart. Well, I might come and stand at the back of the room. There’ll be wine…There’ll be “fancy” women there. There’ll be bright and shiny women. Smart women. On second thought, I will definitely be there.
Okay, here goes: Ladies and gentlemen. It gives me great, great pleasure to announce the public launch of the book called Waiting for Columbus which features me (the one true and only, authentic, and indisputable Admiral of the Western Sea and friend of the Catholic Kings, Christopher Columbus) and was written by Thomas Trofimuk, an Edmonton writer, Admiral of nothing.
So, on this first day of October, year of our lord Two-Thousand and nine, at approximately 7PM, we will celebrate the launching of this fine book.
