Waiting for Columbus optioned for film!!
August 19, 2010
Well, it’s official. This just in, from the Quill & Quire “Quillblog” filed under “Deals”: Thomas Trofimuk’s Waiting for Columbus has been optioned by Angel Entertainment…in a deal arranged by Dara Rowland of Westwood Creative Artists.
“I couldn’t be happier,” Trofimuk said earlier today. “This is just wonderful. A great company that loves to make movies. We’re all hoping for some sort of international co-production. The book is in good hands.”

NOT UNEXPECTED! Congrats! And, I still have those darn cigars taking up space on my table … my fault … little “loops” in life. Will look you up after your “European” adventure.

Thomas,
I continue to be more and more impressed (but never surprised) at the interest that Waiting for Columbus has been drawing. It is an amazing book, and you, my friend are a gifted writer. I’m so excited for you!
Congrats!
