Get on the sorbet list
sorbets
What in the Sam Hill is a Sorbet???
What is this sorbet thing and why do you want (desperately) to get it? Don't fear. Your computer will be fine. You are not under attack. A "sorbet" is a series of weekly snapshot poems, micro-fictions, riffs named "Sorbets" by Mr. Randall Edwards in 1962. If you're new to the Sorbets, you should know that these poems and small fictions, are delivered to an exclusive, very private list ALMOST every Thursday or Friday. The sorbet poems are creations from the head – and heart – of Thomas Trofimuk, a writer who lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and they go around the world to carpenters, cabinet makers, writers, sex columnists, Newfoundland textile artists, Cape Breton house contractors, flute makers, dramaturges, cousins, friends, poets, gardeners, literary agents, computer geeks, publishers, editors, guitar players, Canadian military, Canadian ex-military, librarians...literally hundreds of very cool humans. The Sorbets are meant to act as a poetic bridge between the work-week and the weekend. Some cut closer to the bone than others, but they are fictions nonetheless. Some are more raw than I’d like. But they are what they are – raw snapshots – poetic riffs and experiments. Wherever you are, I hope you have peace.
